70 years of art in architecture in Germany

Traveling exhibition of the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community (BMI) and the Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBR), station in Halle (Saale)

Renowned artists have been creating art in architecture on behalf of the state for 70 years. Many of these works of art are inaccessible to the majority of the population due to their location on federal properties and are therefore hardly known. The Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community (BMI) and the Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBR) have therefore taken the anniversary as an opportunity to produce an exhibition, a publication and a film.

The Kulturwerk of the BBK Saxony-Anhalt showed the traveling exhibition from August 9 to September 8, 2021 in Halle (Saale).

Film review of the traveling exhibition “70 years of art in architecture in Germany”

As part of another project funded by “Neustart Kultur”, we have now completed a short film clip looking back on the Halle version of the exhibition. We would like to thank the Kulturstiftung der Länder with its “KULTUR.GEMEINSCHAFTEN” program for this.
