“schaubau” is the international summer school that has been taking place in the heart of the Bauhaus city of Dessau since 2018. The Design Camp is aimed at designers from all disciplines. This year we are offering you three different workshops over three days. You can take part in one, two or all three workshops. The choice is yours.
This year’s theme is Neuropa: When, if not now? Who, if not you? Where, if not here? Climate change and the environment, health, the economy, social justice, equality, peace, globalization, values and rights, the rule of law, security, digital change, democracy, migration, education, culture, youth and sport … that’s what Europe stands for.
But what are YOUR topics on Europe, what does your Neuropa look like? What is your creative commentary for a Europe in which you want to live? The choice is yours: you design your own personal key visual on your European theme! You have the opportunity to implement it in three different design techniques. For example, you can design an environmentally friendly Riso poster and post it on a wall where it cannot be missed. You can screen print it on paper or fabric or photograph it as a holographic image in Dessau’s urban space (LED flash stick) and the stimulating supporting program (Bauhaus …!) will ensure sunny summer days in the province.

Participation fee: 199,00 Euro
In addition to participation in the workshop, the ticket price includes 10 copies of your artwork, admission to the Bauhaus Museum, material costs, lunch and, of course, participation in the closing party. And like every year, you will receive our goodie bag.
