Works of contemporary visual art are important sources of our present, which must be preserved. They will be a central part of our future art heritage.
The KUNSTFONDS_Werkverzeichnung funding program therefore promotes the digital documentation of artistic life’s work that is of supra-regional importance and high artistic relevance. All measures required to implement the catalog raisonné are eligible for funding.
The program is aimed at visual artists, artist duos and their legal successors. The requested funding amount must be at least 10,000 euros and max. 30,000 euros
The call for applications for the program starts on 15 July 2024 and ends on 26.08.2024 (midnight). Applications can only be uploaded via the Kunstfonds Foundation’s application portal at the start of the call.
The program is financed by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM) with funds from the German Bundestag and the Stiftung Kulturwerk der VG Bild-Kunst.
