The Diffring Prize for Sculpture is awarded to artists in the genre of sculpture and is endowed with 5,000 euros.
It is awarded by the Mittelrhein-Museum on behalf of the City of Koblenz, which has taken over the assets of the JACQUELINE DIFFRING FOUNDATION. The prize is aimed at young, not yet established international artists up to the age of 40 who are studying or have studied at a German art academy or art college. The work must relate to the oeuvre of the founder Jacqueline Diffring (1920-2020) in terms of content or form. Applications can be submitted by 31.01.2025 exclusively by e-mail as a PDF document. The portfolio should include a letter of motivation, a CV and documentation of previous artistic work. The award ceremony will take place in June 2025 at the Mittelrhein-Museum and will be accompanied by a cabinet exhibition.
