The campus of Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences (THI) is to be extended by a further building, the so-called digital building: between the existing THI buildings and the Kavalier Dalwigk, 4000 square meters of main usable space for research, teaching and administration are to be built in the years up to 2026. The building is essentially designed as a laboratory, seminar and office building for computer science and will be used for research and teaching. The THI is one of four Bavarian AI hubs with a focus on AI applications in mobility. The digital building is also one of eight locations that will be forward-looking as part of the High-Tech Agenda (HTA).
