In 2013, the Ministry of Economic Affairs launched the BESTFORM /// MEHR /// WERT /// AWARD for creative ideas for the first time in order to make the creative potential of creative professionals in Saxony-Anhalt widely visible – and thus broke new ground. Never before had a state competition focused on alliances between creative professionals and other sectors of the economy.
The AWARD has grown in over ten years. BESTFORM has moved with the times – without losing its focus. Every two years, industry players based in Saxony-Anhalt and their interfaces are invited to present their outstanding ideas and projects. The competition has become a cross-departmental impulse that is supported by companies, networks, associations and institutions.
A new round of the competition is now starting and you are invited to submit your creative ideas!
What is it about?
The BESTFORM AWARD recognizes innovative projects and creative achievements from Saxony-Anhalt. The competition is aimed at creative minds, companies and agencies that make a sustainable contribution to the economy and society with their projects, products or services.
Why is it worth taking part?
- Attractive prize money: The first prize in both categories is endowed with 10,000 euros each. Prize money totaling up to 35,000 euros will be awarded.
- Public recognition: Your work is made visible through press and public relations work.
- Network: You will have the opportunity to network with other creatives and companies and enter into potential collaborations.
What categories are there?
- PRODUCT: Finished products, services, strategies or projects that convince through innovation and creative solutions and are already available on the market.
- CONCEPT: Concepts, ideas or prototypes that stand out due to their forward-looking approaches and are not yet on the market.
Who can take part?
Creative professionals, companies and agencies based or operating in Saxony-Anhalt are eligible to participate. Idea sketches, concepts, prototypes, products, product ideas and services can be submitted.

- Application deadline: March 31, 2025
- First jury meeting – selection of the finalists: April 30, 2025
