Exhibitions on art, culture or socially and scientifically relevant topics inspire a large audience and provide impetus for current discourse. The venues, formats and professional fields of curating have expanded considerably in recent years. The Curating course picks up on this development and offers a comprehensive introduction to current curatorial practice. It imparts sound knowledge from various disciplines.
Participants benefit from experienced lecturers, top-class experts, international guests and visits to selected exhibitions in Berlin as a cultural location. In addition, there is the opportunity to develop their own exhibition projects alone or in a team and to work on these specifically during the course.
The extra-occupational course is aimed at anyone who would like to work as a curator on a part-time or full-time basis, as well as career changers and decision-makers from institutions and companies.
The course can be booked in modules. Participants who complete all four modules will be awarded a university certificate from Berlin University of the Arts at the end of the certificate course.
