Marco Warmuth in Beaugency

During a two-month residency scholarship from the Saxony-Anhalt Art Foundation in Beaugency, France, Marco Warmuth got to know Caroline Gottwald, a lifeguard living there. Together they developed and realized a campaign for breast cancer prevention for French women. This involved taking black and white photographs of women with and after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Combined with a message to motivate women to take care of themselves.

These were designed on a voluntary basis by the Maigrün agency in Halle. As well as a postcard of each motif. The project was spontaneously supported financially by Dr. Tillmann Lantsch (Elisabeth Hospital Halle) to cover the printing costs. On Saturday, October 5.1, 2024, the campaign was shown for the first time at the Beaugency swimming pool.

Now they are hoping for numerous visitors who will spread the word about breast cancer and the associated breast cancer prevention, so that as many women as possible can be protected in the future. They are also looking for supporters to help spread the word and support the campaign!
