The Network for Sustainability in Art and Culture, the Kulturpolitische Gesellschaft and the Öko-Institut have announced the “WIRKMÄCHTIG Culture4Climate Prize 2024”. Creative artists, organizations, networks and associations not only talk about climate protection, but also act and implement it with concrete measures. That creates impact. For the first time, the Culture4Climate initiative honours people and organizations that are taking innovative approaches to climate protection in the cultural sector in Germany, providing important impetus through their exemplary commitment and inspiring others to follow suit. The WIRKMÄCHTIG Culture4Climate Prize 2024 honors the commitment, makes it visible and thus contributes to the dissemination of pioneering approaches and implementation formats for climate protection in the cultural sector. Individuals, organizations, networks and initiatives are invited to apply by 7 April 2024.
