The Bernd and Gisela Rosenheim Foundation was established in 1993 by the sculptor and painter Bernd Günther Rosenheim(www.berndrosenheim.de). It serves to promote contemporary fine art and awards an art prize with an associated exhibition.
Topic of the competition: Magic and ritual.
Medium and dimensions: Painting on a solid support, min. format: 30x40cm, max. format: 70x100cm (please frame narrowly).
The prize money amounts to 5,000 euros.
Application deadline
Interested parties should register with their personal data and high-resolution image files of their works exclusively via this form by 15.04.2025. Notification of participation in the exhibition will be sent by 31.07.2025.
Exhibition
An exhibition will be organized for the prizewinner and the shortlisted artists from 29.11.2025 – 08.01.2026 in the gallery of the Haus der Stadtgeschichte in Offenbach am Main.
An accompanying catalog will be published. All participants in the exhibition will each receive 10 catalogs. A jury will decide on the works to be exhibited and the awarding of prizes.
Awarding of prizes
The winner will be announced at the opening of the exhibition on 29.11.2025. He/she will leave one of the exhibited works to the Foundation, which will then become part of the Foundation’s collection.
The selection of the finalists up to the awarding of the prize will be carried out under complete protection of the anonymity of the artists: Therefore, indications of authorship, such as recognizable signatures, biographies, etc. will unfortunately lead to exclusion. Entries that do not comply with the terms and conditions stated on rosenheim-kunstpreis.de will also not be considered. Advertising for your submitted work before the award ceremony will lead to exclusion. By submitting the documents, the conditions of participation are recognized. Legal recourse is excluded.
