Since 2004, the Walkmühle artists’ association in Wiesbaden has regularly presented thematic exhibitions with an international line-up. A particular focus of the exhibition program is on topics with social relevance. For example, the artists’ association has organized group exhibitions on the themes of idyll, home, flight and escape, what is wealth, puberty, the cult of the body, being young or old, nature and climate, energy and the phenomenon of fear. From August 23 to November 10, 2024, the Walkmühle Artists’ Association will be hosting an exhibition on the theme of forests. On this occasion, the artists’ association is organizing a call for participation in the exhibition for all interested artists. Curators of the exhibition: The exhibition will be curated by the artists and curators Christiane Erdmann and Verena Schmidt, who have already realized several exhibition projects for the Künstlerverein Walkmühle in recent years. Information on the exhibition venue and dates: Exhibition space of around 460 square meters is available for the entire event at the Walkmühle Wiesbaden. The space also allows installations to be presented in acoustically and visually independent environments. Outdoor areas can also be included after consultation.
