What is the project about?
The project “VERSEHEN – made tangible” is a collective art project that makes women* visible in their diversity and has its origins in the song VERSEHEN. Each participant creates a ceramic female body and adds an individual message in black lettering. These messages can be quotes, thoughts, statements or even song lyrics – the aim is to create visibility and celebrate the different experiences and issues of women*.
This project offers the opportunity to become part of a larger feminist artwork:
Collective message: Each participant contributes to shaping and making visible a collective message.
Diversity and uniqueness: Through the individual design of each woman’s body, the diversity and strength of the community of women* is celebrated.
Inspiration and strength: The project is a powerful statement against the currents of oppression and offers a source of inspiration and strength.
