Curators who wish to deepen their knowledge of international contemporary art and network with the German and foreign art scene can apply to the Goethe-Institut for funding for research trips abroad. The maximum grant per research trip for travel and/or accommodation costs is usually 5,000 euros. Trips starting in 2025 should lead to an exhibition or other event in Germany. Applications are expected to be possible from November 15, 2024.
