With the sixth exhibition in its “generell frisch” series, the Berufsverband Bildender Künstler Sachsen-Anhalt e. V. is presenting works by newcomers in the Kesselhaus of the former Schultheiß brewery in Dessau-Roßlau in winter 2021/2022. As part of the series, which has existed since 2013, 20 artists from all over Saxony-Anhalt who were accepted into the professional association in 2019 and 2020 will be exhibited this time. In addition to painting, graphic art and sculpture, photographs, ceramics as well as installations, objects, performances and textile art are on display – created under the conditions of and in part explicitly in response to the extraordinary past two years.

Directions

By streetcar:
Take line 3 to Altener Straße, then walk towards the bridge, turn left into Brauereistraße before the bridge, then turn right into Elisabethstraße, then take the first gate on the right.

By car:
Navigate to Brauereistraße 1-2 / corner of Elisabethstraße. Parking is available at the back of Brauhausstraße, between the brewery and the railroad tracks.

By train and bike:
From Dessau main station, with the station building behind you, turn right, always along the railroad line, into Elisabethstraße, the last gate on the left.
