Application deadline until 20.01.2025, 12 noon online to: / Keyword “Application BEPO EI – Art in Architecture”
A new service building is being constructed as part of the general refurbishment of the II Riot Police Department in Eichstätt. It is planned to serve 900 to 1000 lunches in three shifts. In addition, catering will be provided independently of canteen operations (24/7). As many officers in training also live on the site, the new building is intended to create a center for the entire facility, which, in addition to fulfilling functional requirements, will also serve as a place for
communication and interaction – even during off-duty hours. The aim of the art-in-architecture competition is to obtain an artistic design within the defined areas
outside the building. This can be one or more works of art.
In the application process, meaningful examples of artistic work are requested. No expense allowances will be paid during the application phase. Eight artists will be selected to take part in the realization competition and will receive an expense allowance of €3,000 for their contributions, with a total gross sum of €170,000 available for the realization.
