DSEE funding program for structurally weak and rural areas
Do your volunteers need an extra dose of recognition? Do you have a good idea for recruiting more volunteers for your initiative? You finally want to do this training and put your club work on a secure footing? You don’t need much, but you can’t do it without money?
We know: With up to 2,500 euros, voluntary organizations in structurally weak and rural regions can do a lot for their volunteers. With the support program, the DSEE wants to help you make life easier for volunteers. Organizations that carry out a project in a structurally weak or rural region are eligible to apply. Legal entities under private law must be non-profit organizations. Corporations under public law are eligible to apply, provided they are not regional authorities, foundations under public law or institutions under public law. Anyone who has already received funding in the current year cannot apply again.
You can apply for project funding of up to 2,500 euros. The DSEE covers up to 90 percent of the project’s total expenditure. As a rule, projects can begin eight weeks after application and must be completed within the current calendar year. Applications for projects to be carried out in 2023 had to be submitted by October 2, 2023 at the latest. Applications for the year 2024 can be submitted again on an ongoing basis since November 15, 2023.
Application deadline: possible on an ongoing basis
