CLAIM Culture makes you strong. Alliances for education: “We can do art”

Under the title “We can do art”, the Bundesverband Bildender Künstlerinnen und Künstler e. V. (BBK), as a program partner of the BMBF, supports art projects of local alliances that are carried out by professional visual artists for children and young people whose educational opportunities are limited. In the projects, classical artistic techniques such as painting, drawing, collage, printing techniques, sculptural work as well as stage design, photography, film, digital techniques and performances can be taught, learned and used. Interdisciplinary projects are also eligible for funding as long as the focus is on the visual arts. The projects also deal with topics such as the environment, violence/tolerance, migration/integration, history, war and peace and/or the social environment of the participants, depending on the target group.
