For the new technology park and student center of Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences, the Rosenheim State Building Authority is currently holding a two-stage, non-open, anonymous design competition for two locations with a preliminary, open application procedure. A budget of € 735,000.00 incl. VAT is available for the realization of the art for location A – facade. VAT and for location B – outdoor area a budget of € 500,000.00 incl. VAT. VAT is available. An application for both locations is permitted. An artistic intervention in the façade design is planned for the technology park building. The task of the second competition area is an intervention in part of the outdoor facilities around the student center, which is intended to define the new campus center in the long term. The artistic challenge consists to a large extent in the task of developing the art on the building in dialog with the planners of the project. The competition is therefore held at an early stage before the actual building planning begins in order to achieve the best possible integrative approach to the artistic idea, planning and implementation.
