Together with Dornrosa e.V. and the initiators Wiebke Kirchner and Daniela Schönemann, we held an eventful workshop last week. Magdalena Kallenberger and Isabell Spengler from the artists’ collective MATERAL FANTASIES were our guests. Not only did they give us great insights into their previous work, they also put on a participatory performance with us. Their series “The First Supper” now also includes a contribution from Halle (Saale). There were 13 artists and 3 children. Here are a few insights from the “making of”. We are already looking forward to the video and photo documentation, which are now in post-production. We were also able to use the meeting to talk about cultural policy measures in our federal state that could improve the situation of parents in the art industry.
