A hybrid event organized by the Berufsverband Bildender Künstler Sachsen-Anhalt e.V. and Dornrosa e.V. Halle. The initiators are the visual artists Wiebke Kirchner and Daniela Schönemann.
For artists who have children, the art world is full of structural hurdles. Parenthood and freelancing are difficult to reconcile and this is where we want to talk to you and change things! We invited visual artist Marcia Breuer to talk about her manifesto “More Mothers for Art” and other initiatives for a family-friendly art world. In the subsequent workshop, we want to look for solutions with you and pool visions in order to become active here in the Central German region.
Participation in the event is free of charge and is open to all interested parties, regardless of membership in the organizing associations!
It is possible to experience Marcia Breuer’s lecture digitally. This must be stated when registering. Participation in the subsequent workshop is only possible in presence.
The registration deadline is 24.4.2024. Later registrations are possible for digital participation; in presence subject to free places.
