Workshop “Touring Artists” in Berlin on April 29

Mobility is a central aspect of artistic practice. Do I remain insured through the KSK if I travel to Japan for a year? How do I organize a stay at an artist residency in Belgium? How do I take my works of art abroad? These and similar questions will be discussed during the event. The workshop is aimed at artists who work in an international context and/or cooperate with international partners. The information portal touring artists (a project of the ITI Center Germany, the IGBK and the Dachverband Tanz Deutschland) offers internationally mobile artists a well-founded introduction to the topics of taxes, social security, copyright, insurance, visa/residence, customs and funding for international projects. In addition, individual consultations are offered free of charge. As part of the workshop, the portal and the advisory services offered by touring artists will be presented. Sebastian Hoffmann coordinates the touring artists advisory service at the International Theatre Institute (ITI) – Center Germany on the administrative regulations for cross-border work in the cultural sector (all disciplines). We ask for binding registration. Participation is free of charge. Workshop with Sebastian Hoffmann, touring artists, Berlin. / Brief information: Monday, 29.04.2024, 11.00-14.00 hrs. Venue: Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg, Gerokstraße 37, 70184 Stuttgart. In cooperation with touring artists, Berlin
